Seeing as I haven't posted until fairly recently, I feel it's only fair to share my progress and thoughts on the projects I've completed in these last few months. I've completed Gun Fight, my recent Pong redesign, Grand Track 10, and Snake. Currently I'm working on a retro style fantasy RPG.
The next few sections will detail my experiences with making these games and my personal thoughts. I will also provide links to the games under each description. Please enjoy.
Gun Fight
Gun fight was probably one of the most tedious projects to work on, but I had a lot of fun with it. One thing I struggled with in the game was making character animations. It was hard to get the poses down and be patient enough to sync them up. However, I enjoyed the coding part and seeing the game come together as a whole. I want to change some of the art in the future and make it look a bit more polished, but I for now I think it looks decent, and I had a blast making it.

Grand Track 10
This project wasn't one of my favorites to work on, but I loved working on the level design. One thing I enjoyed with making the game was making little circles and turning them into a road for the game. It was satisfying to see and honestly kind of relaxing, in a way. I struggled with inputting speed in the game and getting the coding right, though. I want to work more on some aspects of the game in the future, such as sound, speed, and controls. You could say it's a work-in-progress, but I want to focus on other projects first. Overall, I liked making it, and it was cool to learn how to make a retro car game where you drove laps around a track. I think the concept was interesting for sure.

Snake
This game was fun to work on, but I feel like it took longer than it should have. I was preoccupied with other projects such as 3D work and loose sketching at the time of making it, but I'm now learning to balance other work with coding and game development. I enjoy coding the game and seeing the game come together, as I did with Gun Fight. Seeing the fruit disappear and reappear in the game was fun, too. I struggled with the speed of the snake at first and the point systems, but I was able to fix it in the end. I want to fix the colors on Snake at some point so it looks a bit more personalized.
